What You Should Know About A Close-Up Table Magician

Performing magic takes more than just skills. We have to capture your audience’s attention with an illusion that fascinates them. It is even more challenging to entertain when performing close-up magic.

You need a reaction, and nothing can be better than an awestruck expression, followed by a chuckle.

After almost 10 years of experience as a professional magician, I still enjoy close-up table magic the most. The performance calls for versatility; you can design series of tricks depending on your party. From weddings to corporate events, close-up table magic can fit almost any event.

But then, what makes a close-up table magician win chuckles? A combination of their personality, a little bit of magic and a whole lot of skill!

Introduces Their Own Magic

Quite honestly, I don’t go to an event only to perform. Instead, I attend each party to make it a success. As a magician, I am there to entertain guests, help them communicate and bring them out of their comfort zones to enjoy.

It won’t be magic if I’m not completely into it! It will be a lot more awkward if I just go at the table, do the trick and turn to next table. So I try to interact more with people and engage with them rather than just make it about magic.

Keep The Magic Alive

While personality surely helps a table magician set the mood, it’s the technique that does the ‘trick’ in the end.

And trick is all about practise. I practise sleight of hand again and again and never go out to a party without a plan. This boosts my confidence making it all the easier to perform.

Even after so many years of practise, I have never thought of performing magic without practice. As a close-up table magician, it’s important for me to entertain the guests at the first attempt!

Let The Magic Reverberate

From the moment a close-up magician steps in to the moment he leaves, his performance speaks on his behalf. Actually, the way a magician performs can leave the party guests talking for months about their experience. You’ll want to recommend him to every person you meet!

A good table magician is confident, has good tricks in his hand, and knows how to create an experience. Magic is never without mystery, and they will leave you marvelling even if their focus is completely on tricks. They’ll never forget the audience, interacting at the right time to keep your guests happy.

As a table magician in Cambridgeshire, I have gained a lot of appreciation from my clients. If you’re looking for a close-up magician, you know where to contact me!
