A magician's diary

Dear diary I have done lots of magic since my last update. Here is a brief synopsis of the stuff I have been up to.

I have been hanging out with close up magician Jon Armstrong who was performing at the International Magic Convention a few weeks ago and is hanging around for a bit before going back to LA.

Last Saturday I was doing table magic at a 60th birthday party in Gatwick in the evening and in thr afternoon I was doing some sleight of hand shuffling for Sky Sports for a Champions League advert. Didn't work on Sunday as its not a big magic day so I just watched football on telly.

Last Monday I went to Monday Night Magic which is a comedy magic club held "Upstairs at the Gatehouse" which is a theatre above a pub. The bill was Jon Armstrong, Paul Zenon, James Brown and Luke Jermay. Luke was on great form, he has added new bits to several routines since living in the US and the crowd showed their enthusiasm. All other acts were very well recieved by the appreciative audience.

On Tuesday afternoon I was doing close up magic at a works Christmas party in central London for a banking firm. On Tuesday evening I was doing sleight of hand magic at a small solicitors firm bash in Holborn. On Wednesday I was at the Cinnamon Club in London doing table magic in a private room for about 50 people. On Thursday I was at the huge Tiger, Tiger in Haymarket performing magic for about 1400 people at a massive corporate party along with magicians Andrew Murray and John Carey. On Friday I was at the Stock Exchange in London doing magic for smart 14 and 15 year olds who will be our overulers in the future. They had won awards for their smartness and stuff. On Saturday I was at Greenwoods Hotel and Spa which is in Essex.

Its now Monday again so I'm back on the road again.
